Whether you like it or not, Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year. And, nope, it’s not a discrete celebration, but one with much fuss. Burning love declarations, marriage request, messages written on the sky, that vanish in a couple of minutes, or tattoos on the skin – which stay there for a lifetime. Men with flowers in their hands on the street, couples hugging and kissing, vowing each other eternal love… And, if you wait too much, you can kiss your chance of making a restaurant reservation good bye. You might find everything too sweet and lovey-dovey and romanticized, but that’s the way it is. And yes, it’s a game you have to play. It only lasts a day, so enjoy it.
So, here it goes again. Only two months away from Christmas, and you have to buy a gift for your beloved. And that’s not an easy thing. Ever! Even if you know what she wants, for Valentine’s Day you have to prove yourself and offer her something magic, something to show her how you feel, beyond any need for words.
