5 drinks that make great gifts

For those who truly know to appreciate them

I don’t know about you, but when I get to the drinks shelves, I need help. Especially if I want to offer someone a quality drink. I look at each bottle and I’m lost, it’s so hard to decide. And since Christmas and the New Year’s Eve are so close, I know I’ll have the same dilemma. So I did some thorough research and found out what are the drinks that would thrill a connoisseur – not an amateur like me :).

1

The Cognac

Chateau de Triac from Discover by Braastad is a sophisticated blend of cognacs – some very old, like 50 years old. It tastes rich and contains oak and fruit notes, gingerbread, liquorice and even accents of apple pie. It’s a complex cognac, produced only with the grapes from the Chateau de Triac vineyards, a drink matured in half a century old oak barrels.

2

The Scottish whisky

Chivas Regal presents Royal Salute Eternal Reserve, a collection of selected whiskeys, all at least 21 years of age. The design of the bottle says it from the start: you are dealing with a refined drink. Its sophisticated taste reveals vanilla, fruit and honey notes. To be savored dry or with a single ice cube!

3

The rum

Appleton Estate 21 Year Old has a whole story to tell. It starts with the maturation in oak barrels, which lasts 21 years – hereafter, the name. But it’s worth waiting: your taste buds will be spoiled with a fine drink that contains caramel, oak, coffee beans and orange peel notes, but also vanilla and dried fruit aromas.

4

The vodka

If you want a quality vodka, choose Beluga Gold Line. It is a premium product that also benefits from an exceptional package – a gift box where you’ll find a small wooden hammer with which to crack the bits of wax still remaining on the cork of the bottle after you unsealed it. Beluga Gold Line contains lemon blossom, vanilla and spice notes. Drink it plain, with ice, or in cocktails.

5

The champagne

It’s a traditional drink for any important holiday, especially New Year’s Eve. Choose Cristal from Louis Roederer, a delicate and refined drink, made in France. It is produced from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, and contains apricot, peach, citrus, minerals and cream notes. Plus a million bubbles that will delight your senses in the most special evening in all the year. Enjoy, and Happy New Year’s Eve!
