The pink eye shadow is the star product of the new season

Almost every woman has in her beauty kit at least one pink eye shadow. And that’s because it’s a delicate shade, which compliments any woman, no matter the color of her eyes. It’s true that the pink especially highlights the green and blue eyes, but looks just as great on a brown-eyed woman. The pearl pink, light-colored, may be applied on the entire eyelid even for a daytime make-up.
However, in the new season, designers have played a lot with the shades of pink eye shadows. I saw, on the catwalks, rosy pink, pale pink, or shades of fuchsia. Tadashi Shoji chose a strong tint, applied to both the upper and lower eyelid. But the most interesting is the make-up from Emilio Pucci’s show, with artistic, geometric influences, dreamily matching the vivid, colorful, and print outfits, specific to the brand.
All sounds good, but not all women are models, not all are parading on the catwalks, and don’t have the luxury of a professional make-up every morning. Most of the times, we have about ten minutes for make-up – but here lies the best news: the pink make-up is that not at all complicated to apply. So, yes, we can get inspired from the catwalk and pick a single hue, a pastel or a strong one, or to combine the pink with another color. Here, the make-up palettes come quite handy, as they contain a few colors that match perfectly with each other.
Pale pink and silver grey, just as in Givenchy’s palette, pink and warm brown tones from Guerlain, or two different shades of pink and burgundy from YSL. So, this season, go ahead, play with the colors: once you’ll discover your favorite combination, I’m pretty sure that you’ll wear it all summer long.
