One of the most famous beauty brands in the industry, Lancome, is enchanting us with wonderful product launches every year. Yet, there are some products released years ago, which have become iconic and that we love, even if the label doesn’t say anymore “brand new”.

The foundation
When Lancome upgraded its already famous Teint Idole Ultra foundation, back in 2005, and promised that it would last 14 hours, women from all over the world were already in love with its renowned formula. Then, in 2012, the foundation was once again improved: 24 hours resistance. Last year, the product received a new look and a new name, Teint Idole Ultra Wear, which strengthened its market position and placed it among the best and long-lasting foundations.

The mascara
The well-known Hypnose mascara from Lancome was launched in 2004 and earned its top position due to the Soft Sculpt technology, which combines emollient wax with pigments, thus conferring volume. From the same line, then, various extensions, were released (like Hypnose Drama, Hypnose Doll Eyes, Hypnose Volume a Porter) and each of them has proved to magically shape the eyelashes in a way that few similar products can.

The lipstick
L’Absolu Rouge is one of the Lancome’s legendary products. It was released in 1990, and its formula was enriched over time. Now it’s available in lots of nuances (new colors, some in limited editions, are launched each year). Its formula is enhanced with Pro-Xylane, an extremely hydrating ingredient, which provides protection and care.

The gloss
Ah, I don’t even know if there’s anything more pleasant for the lips than Juicy Tubes from Lancome! Maybe the newer Juicy Shaker – although, I’ll remain a devoted fan of the original, classic product. Released in 2000, Juicy Tubes swiftly became a phenomenon due to its hydrating formula, to its glow, literally, taken to another level, to its superb candy-like colors, and its fruity, irresistible aromas. And, for all these reasons, we still love it.

The perfume
One of the best-sold fragrances in the world, Tresor was released by Lancome in 1990. Created my the master-perfumer Sophia Grojsman, Tresor (which, in French, means “treasure”) has an oriental-floral aroma, a warm, elegant composition, which contains rose, heliotrope, peach and iris. From 1990 till now, within the Treson line were launched lots of other flavors, such as Tresor la Nuit, Tresor In Love, or Tresor Midnight Rose.
