#Top5: Cool sunglasses

With shapes and colors that can't go unnoticed

Welcome, sunny days! I’m so happy that it’s warm outside that I feel like frolicking every day, walking as much as possible, and moving my office outdoors: on a terrace, indefinitely! I missed my summer dresses, my sandals, but also the shopping. And, as every year, on my shopping wish list there’s at least a pair of sunglasses. Not any pair, but one that I simply adore! Which one should I choose from the ones below?

Dolce&Gabbana proposes an opulent, luxurious and elegant model of sunglasses. The lace – a material frequently used in its fashion creations – is now reproduced on the frame of the glasses. The shades are also superb: light-colored, coffee-tinted lenses, and golden lace on a transparent background.

John Lennon inspiration

I bet that even if you wouldn’t have seen the photo of these Ray Ban glasses you’d have known what I meant, just because I mentioned John Lennon: round lenses and very thin frames. With a combination of fantastic colors – blue lenses and golden frames – these are the perfect sunglasses for a retro, yet cool look.

A splash of color

And, well, not a discrete one, but a daring fuchsia. This bright pink pair of sunglasses – frames and lenses, alike – is the proposition of the Polaroid brand. I can’t even begin to imagine something more appropriate for the summer days, especially if you match them with an equally audacious outfit.

Gucci suggests these black sunglasses with oversized lenses – what a splendid design! I’d wear them with a stylish black dress (yes, I like to wear black even in mid-summer), but also with a more relaxed outfit, like jeans and a white shirt.

They are surely perfect also in other combinations, but when I first saw these Marc Jacobs sunglasses, I immediately thought that they would make an ideal choice for a safari-glam ensemble. The green lenses and the brownish frames will flatter any khaki or beige hued outfit.
