The newest spring-summer trends – part 2

The latest proposals for make-up and hairstyle

Get inspired from the looks worn by the models that have presented the spring-summer 2018 collections and choose your favorite trends. How to create a similar look for yourself? We’ll tell you!

1

Plenty of glitter

A make-up that can be defined in a single word: shine. Yes, on the catwalks it was a beautiful madness: from metallic eye shadows (at Anna Sui), to shiny crystals applied under the lower eyelid (at Jeremy Scott). I even saw sequins – on the eyelids, and on the lips (at Dries Van Noten). How to translate and interpret this trend? Apply a silver eye shadow on the eyelids, on the eyes outline or just around the eyes. Play: there are no strict rules! Try Ombre Couture from Givenchy.

2

Hair in the wind

Forget about those perfectly arranged hairstyles in which each strand stays sensibly in its place. At Tod’s, Tom Ford or Prada I admired the opposite: messy-chic looks with the hair as though scattered by the wind. The hair is usually tied back, but a few rebel strands proudly linger on the face. You’ll need volume for such a hairstyle, so use the Hair Root Boost spray from Moroccanoil.

3

Well-defined eyelashes

The eyelashes are important in this season, too – they are well contoured, sometimes even with an excess of mascara. I saw them in the make-up looks proposed by Sonia Rykiel, Christian Dior, Mila Schon or No.21. Fortunately, there’s a new great mascara – so it will be so very easy for you to outline your eyelashes: Noir Interdit from Givenchy. You must try it!

4

Fresh complexion

Forget about the ultra resistant foundation formulas! It’s the season when your skin needs to be luminous, to have that irresistible glow that I’ve seen in the Saint Laurent, Prada, Givenchy, Nina Ricci or Isabel Marant shows. Pick a light formula foundation, which confers radiance, such as Syncro Skin Glow Luminizing from Shiseido. And do not apply powder this time!

5

The line game

The eyeliner stays in power! You’ve always struggled to apply it flawlessly, to create a straight line… Now, however, again, the rules no longer abide. The eyeliner can be applied only in the outer corner of the eye. Or on the whole eyelids’ contour, but without precision – just as a childish drawing. Find inspiration at Lanvin, Jil Sander, Paul&Joe or Oscar de la Renta. What else you need? One quality eyeliner: Grandiose from Lancome.
