The simple guide to the best sangria

Delicious, just as the Spanish do it

I just remembered with certain nostalgia the days spent in Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia. The lazy, wonderful evenings on the terraces, leisurely savoring a large glass of delicious sangria. But, like any holiday, at some point it ends J. I got back home and, in the warmest days of summer, I began dreaming of a genuine, charming sangria. Goody, but how hard can it be to prepare it at home? I’ve done my research, and guess what, I found out it’s not so complicated: yeap, you can make a delicious sangria at home. You need a good wine, fruit and patience – because it has to stay in the fridge for 24 hours. After, well, you can give a party!

Therefore, you’ll need:
– 1 bottle of red wine
– 120 ml brandy
– 120 ml orange juice
– 500 ml mineral water
– 60 ml syrup
– a few slices of orange
– a few slices of apple
– pomegranate beans
– a few blackberries

If you have the above ingredients, everything becomes very simple: mix them and put them in the refrigerator, where, as I said, they have to stay for 24 hours. The wine will get a delicious, fruity aroma. Bottom line: serve your sangria into glasses decorated with slices of orange and, if you like, add some ice cubes.

Just enjoy it, it’s simply delish!
