To go to in August and September 2018

If you decide to leave on a vacation or, at least, a long weekend, and the FUN factor is essential, then we have some good news for you: there are lots of festivals in Europe in August and September. Which means you have every chance to spend a few unforgettable moments dancing and listening to great music. So, where would you want to go?

Norway
Event:
The Oya festival. It’s the coolest Norwegian festival, with a 20 years old tradition, which gathers over 60,000 people in three days. You’ll listen great music, from hip-hop to death metal – there are plenty of gigs you can choose from. It happens in the surroundings of Toyen Park, Oslo.
When: 7-11 August 2018.

Hungary
Event:
The Sziget festival. It lasts more than a week and you’ll have the chance to listen to rock, jazz, blues and many others genres, as the line-up is very diverse. It takes place on an island, on the Danube, at Sziget – north of the Budapest. You can go by tent or stay at one of the hotels in the city – either way, you’ll get fast to the festival by train or ferry.

Finland
Event:
The Flow Festival, a music and art festival that takes place near Helsinki. In addition to the nine stages where the concerts take place, you can also enjoy film projections or exhibitions. Bonus: delicious food, from 40 restaurants – of course, served from street food trucks. The festival is also proud for its environmental care: the carbon footprint is zero, electricity is green, and materials used are always recycled.
When: 10-12 August 2018.

France
Event:
Rock en Seine takes place in Paris at Saint-Cloud National Domain. It’s, somehow, the rival of the Glastonbury festival in Britain, taking place in a dream-like decor, and awaiting its guests not only with various musical genres, but also with exceptional culinary treats. And Paris is always a good idea.

24-26 August 2018.

Belgium
Event:
At the Pukkelpop festival you’ll enjoy some amazing alternative rock and pop concerts. It takes place near the Belgian city of Hasselt and is well-known to the festivals’ amateurs, as it was first organized in 1985. It’s the perfect spot to have fun, enjoy top entertainment, and taste the famous Belgian beers.

Morocco
Event:
The Oasis festival, with its house and techno performances, is organized about 17 kilometers from Marrakech, at Fellah hotel – a stunning place, with turquoise pools. In the distance, you can glimpse the Atlas Mountains. Morocco is a Muslim country, but during the festival you can have lots a fun, just like you do in any other place in the world.
When: 14-16 September 2018.

Portugal
Event:
Nova Batida is a festival organized in an old factory of the timeworn docks of Lisbon. Besides the good music, they’re organizing boat and beach parties – and more, you can even take part in surfing or yoga lessons. And the Portuguese food doesn’t need any more presentation at all.
When: 14-15 September 2018.
