Celebrity hairstyle: blonde or brunette?

The radical changes of the Hollywood stars

In the world of celebrities, the look change with the speed of light. New hairstyles every day, different haircuts more often than we would expect to. Not to mention that the hair color changes depending on the trend, stylist, or role. But switching from brunette to blonde (or vice versa) is quite radical. For example, we’ve got so used with Sienna Miller or Cameron Diaz’s shades of blonde that we almost did not recognize them in the photos with brunette hair. And this kind of change is an act of courage for many of us.
At least that’s how things look like from my point of view – the one of a brunette. Whenever I thought about changing my hair color, I somehow went for close shades. And no, it never crossed my mind to dye my hair blonde. But looking at the stars’ photographs, I wondered: should I give it a try?

I repeated this question at my last visit to the hairdresser. My stylist, surprised (he heard me so many times, over and over again saying that I will never ever give up on chocolate brown shades), has raised his eyebrows. He asked if I was 100% sure about it. I wasn’t, but I truly wanted to find out his opinion. And what followed was a detailed discussion about what hair bleaching really means, that it’s not a good idea to do this in a single session and how I should take care of my hair if I would decide to go down this road. More specifically, that I have to use a shampoo and conditioner for dry hair and, mandatory, a hydrating mask at least once a week. Then he convinced me to go home and sleep on it, as it’s an important decision.

Nope, I’m still not a blonde. I’ll check again the photos below and, after that, hopefully I’ll take the right decision.
