Ah, the calories. We count them every day and, with all that, we can’t get rid of them as soon as we want. And, in this entire attempt to get thinner or to keep our current weight, we’ll see ourselves having to give up some of the most tempting pleasures of life. Among which is, surprise!, chocolate.
Fortunately, chocolate is not an enemy as big as we think. On the contrary, when consumed right. It does have a lot of benefits. We’ll enumerate them below and, out of pleasure, we’ll celebrate with some pralines. Want some?
- It’s good for the heart
Many studies have come to the conclusion that chocolate is heart-friendly: it reduces the risk of cardio-vascular diseases, especially because the blood pressure is dropping.
- It reduces the stress
It seems we’re not having our chocolate craving for nothing when we’re stressed! Black chocolate, in particular, is one that diminishes stress. That if it’s regular consumed – then again, who would have anything against it?
- And it helps the fight against aging
Cocoa is rich in antioxidants, which are extremely important when it comes to anti-aging. So, again, black chocolate helps even at this chapter.
- It lowers the cholesterol
Again, this is one of the benefits that cocoa is known for. Namely, because it lowers the bad cholesterol. Okay, there are other foods that do the same thing, but certainly do not give you the same pleasure!
- It helps keep your weight
I wouldn’t go so far to say that chocolate helps you to lose weight, yet, according to several studies, it was established that people who eat chocolate regularly have higher chances to maintain their constant body weight. (Between you and I, I don’t think, though, that can happen if they eat a whole chocolate tablet every day!)
- It gives you energy
Just eat black chocolate and you’ll have more energy than usual. If you go to the gym, you should feel the difference – the capacity to exercise grows.
- And it makes you feel good
Just because it’s delicious!
